Once field data has been uploaded into IKE Office, IKE Photos can be annotated to determine heights of attachment for wires and other equipment.
Click on the IKE Photo to set the base of the pole.
- This will be the base for all the other measurements on the pole.
- If you used a base-offset in your IKE Photo, double-click on the “Base” annotation to enter in the offset measurement.
- A base offset should be used for collecting IKE Photos of poles where the base of the pole is not visible due to vegetation, snow, or anything that obscures the base.
Once the base of the pole is set, begin going down the IKE collection form and measuring the heights of objects listed in the form.
Click the orange “Measure Height” button within a height field for an object and then click on the IKE Photo where the object is attached to the pole.
Users can edit any information in the collection form.
- For example, users can add new wires or equipment, change the size of a wire that was already input in the field, or edit span information.
When editing and annotating a collection is complete, make sure to save the changes by clicking the orange check icon at the top of the collection form.
