Background

Sag & tension tables for IKE PoleForeman are created using the Sag10 application then uploaded to the Database Admin Portal. This method protects design standards and eliminates the overhead of needing to enter the same specifications time and time again.

How can I override this and manually set sag & tensions while working in IKE PoleForeman?

• Requirements:
  • IKE PoleForeman version 1.1 or later
  • Feature is enabled for database
    • Database Admins within the organization can enable this feature in the Database Admin Portal
• Open the Conductor Info dialog box and choose the option to Manually Specify Sag and Tension
  • Enter Design Tension, Deflection Tension, and the Ruling Span Max values for the selected conductor
    • You may need to manually enter your ruling span on the text box labeled "Ruling Span (ft)" for the conductor
