Why move jobs & poles?
- A fielder created a job in the wrong department
- You need to move poles to a different department as part of your QC process
- There's too many poles in one job and you want to break it up to better organize your data
Who is able to move jobs & poles?
- Only Admins and Data Admins in IKE Office Pro are able to perform this action
Please follow the screenshots below to better understand how to move jobs & poles:
1. Select the job or pole you want to move by selecting the corresponding checkbox
2. Click the three dots
3. Select Move to Job or Move to Department

- You can type in the name of an existing job OR type in a new name to create an entirely new job containing the poles you selected
- This is useful for splitting up larger jobs
- You can type in the name of an existing job OR type in a new name to create an entirely new job containing the poles you selected

- You can only move jobs & poles to departments you have access to

Tip for success: It's best practice to only move jobs & poles that are completely fielded. If you move a job or pole then try to upload more data you may receive an error when trying to upload in IKE Field because the job or pole no longer exists in the original location.
