- Do not share Polaris licenses amongst different devices

1. Ensure network coverage
True RTK offers enhanced accuracy for RTK fixed locations. However, if you find yourself outside of the True RTK coverage area, you’ll need to switch to Virtual RTK through the GPS Config app in Step 3.
Note - The maps below show network coverage at the time this guide was created. Network coverage is subject to change. The current coverage map for Polaris by Point One can be found here.
True RTK (1-3 cm horizontal and vertical accuracy)
Virtual RTK (3-8 cm horizontal accuracy; 10 cm vertical accuracy)
2. Obtain a Polaris license from IKE Support
Polaris licenses are automatically provided by IKE Support following the purchase of an IKE+ device. If you haven't been assigned a Polaris license for your IKE+ device you may request one from IKE Support here. When reaching out to us please be sure to include the following information:

- Device serial number
- Located on the back of IKE+ unit, starts with 3600, 2600, or 1600
- The geographical area you'll be fielding in
- Device serial number

3. Configure GPS Config to use the Polaris license provided
The GPS Config app can be found in the app menu on an IKE device. If the device is not an IKE+ device the configuration options will not be available.
True RTK example configuration:

Note - This can be used in areas where True RTK isn't available.

4. Use Polaris RTK while collecting data with IKE Field
- A Wi-Fi/hotspot connection is required
- The GPS Config app will run in the background when you're working in IKE Field
- It will need to be started by tapping "Start NTRIP"
- Upon connection it may take up to a minute to obtain an RTK fix
- When using the location measurement tool in IKE Field it will note "RTK" as the location type
