It is good practice to clear all the data on the SD card within the IKE Device as part of routine maintenance. The IKE Device relies on virtual RAM, therefore the more space you have on your card, the better the device will function. 

Although you may be weary of clearing out data, once it has been uploaded, it is preserved in the IKE Office cloud indefinitely. Always ensure you see an orange checkmark next to your job with the word 'Synced'. This means your data has been successfully uploaded into IKE Office.

Warning: This will delete ALL data on the device. Ensure you've uploaded ALL jobs before proceeding.

Follow the steps below to format your SD card:

1. Upload any pending jobs that are currently showing up in IKE Field.

2. Swipe up from the bottom of your home screen to show all apps.

   

3. Click on the Files app folder.

4. Click the hamburger menu in the upper-left hand corner.

   

5. Click on SanDisk SD Card at the bottom of the menu.

   

6. Click the 3 dots in the upper-right hand corner of the SD Card Menu.

   

7. Select 'Storage settings' on the pop-up menu.

   

8. Select 'Format'. DO NOT select 'Format as internal'

   

9. This completes the SD card format. You should see almost all 32 GB available for use now.
