Symptom: While working in IKE Field you encounter the message "No jobs Yet!" or "Department Error! No Departments Yet." The job(s) you were working on are no longer displaying.
Resolution: Try the following steps until the issue is resolved
- Ensure you have a reliable Wi-Fi connection
-
Log out of IKE Field
- Tap the upper left hand corner then "Logout"
- Log back into IKE Field
-
Ensure you've selected the correct department
- If you're in a different department than what you originally collected under your job(s) will not display
- Tap the upper left hand corner and check the department drop-down displayed under your email address
- If you don't see the correct department listed contact an IKE Office Administrator for your organization. Your access permissions may have changed.
-
Ensure the IKE Device is using the correct storage location
- By default IKE Field writes all data to the SD card. When IKE Field is unable to use the SD card it switches to internal memory. IKE Field cannot use both storage locations simultaneously. If the storage location changed after you last collected the data will no longer appear in IKE Field.
- Check the storage location by tapping the upper left hand in IKE Field corner then "About"
- "Internal" - the SD card may have become unseated due to a significant impact
- "SD card" - there's a chance the SD card is faulty or not seated properly which is causing IKE Field to toggle between both storage locations
- You can access the SD card by removing the back of the device
- Always power down the device when removing the backing
- 1600/2600 series require a phillips head driver
- 3600 series require a T9 Torx bit
- The SD card is located behind the battery
- Push the gate down towards the bottom of the device to pop it open / push gate closed and push up to ensure it's latched
- If the data is still not present after ensuring the SD card is seated you can try removing the card which forces IKE Field to use the internal storage
- For normal device operation the SD card should be seated and the storage location should indicate "SD card"
- If steps 4 & 5 have not resolved your issue submit a ticket and our Support Team will assist
