Symptom: While working in IKE Field the device suddenly becomes unresponsive/frozen and no longer responds to touch. The screen may freeze at the last point or may display a white/black color.
Resolution: Try the following steps until the issue is resolved

Force a restart
- Hold the power button down for at least 30 seconds to force a restart

Temporarily disconnect the battery

- Remove the backing to access the battery

- Serial numbers starting in 1600 & 2600 require a Phillips head screwdriver
- Serial numbers starting in 3600 require a T9 Torx bit
- The T9 bit is available at most hardware stores

- Disconnect the battery by gently pulling on the cable
- Let the device sit for 1 minute then reconnect the battery
- Power the device on by pressing the power button
- Remove the backing to access the battery

Note - A device freezing should be an extremely rare event. If you experience this more than once with your device there is likely an underlying issue. In these cases we recommend performing a factory reset using the guide found here
