Are you receiving this message 'a0.sdk.internal_error.unknown' when trying to login to IKE Field? This error is most commonly linked to a time/date discrepancy on your IKE unit.
Note: If your device serial number begins in "16" or "26" AND the error above is accompanied by a security certificate see this guide for resolution.
Follow the steps below to resolve:
Check the Network Time Setting on your unit
- Open the Android Settings app on your device (gear icon)
- Go to System > Date & Time
- Ensure the Use network-provided time setting is toggled ON
- Restart the IKE device
- Ensure you are connected to the internet
- Go to IKE Field and see if you can login
- If the error persists, continue to the next section
Manually set the date and time
- Go to Settings > System > Date & Time
- Toggle OFF the Use network-provided time setting
- Tap on the Date section and select the current date from the calendar
- Tap on the Time section and set the current time
- Tap the Time zone section and select the correct region and time zone for your location
- Ensure you are connected to the internet (Settings > Network & internet)
- Go to IKE Field and see if you can login
- If the error persists, continue to the next section
Factory Reset the unit
- Go to Settings > System > Advanced > Reset Options > Erase all data
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Use the IKE Update app to install IKE Field
If your device serial number begins in "16" or "26" the factory reset function is found in Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset. After the factory reset you'll need to manually install IKE Field by following Step 5. in this guide.
Note on data loss - Performing a factory reset will NOT remove data previously collected and stored on the SD card. You will only lose previously collected data if you also clear the SD card.
